Unlock a cure for Parkinson’s fundraiser

29 July 2021 The Atrium, Wintec House, Wintec, Hamilton

Unlock was the word of the evening and we certainly unlocked a good time, a few laughs, perhaps a tear, but most overwhelmingly amazing generosity.

With over $178k raised, we were humbled and encouraged by the willingness to contribute to my dream of a cure for this robbing disease called Parkinson’s. To know that we are doing all we can to prevent others from suffering my fate is something worth beating the drum for. Kaye and I will gladly match the sum raised.

Our heartfelt thanks to all our generous sponsors, suppliers and attendees.  Particular thanks to fantastic entertainer and MC Frankie Stevens, sponsored by JRD Advisory – such a special rendition of I Have A Dream; Montana Food & Events for unlocking our tastebuds with an incredible menu and the table wines; Hillcrest New World for keeping us well hydrated; Nancy Caiger, Caiger Charitable Trust, for our first-time use of the Galabid auction system and Wintec for the use of the wonderful Atrium venue.
