Swing for Neuro Research Charitable Trust

10 April 2015 St Andrew's Golf Course

Craigs Investment Partners’ Swing for Neuro Research Charitable Trust Golf Event was held at St Andrew’s Golf Course in Hamilton. The Chiefs were in attendance and a Chiefs player joined each of the 27 golf teams. The weather was not helpful, but this didn’t dampen the spirits or enthusiasm of the participants. The Chiefs very much got into the nature of the day and, to top it off, they supplied a pig on a spit and a recently shot whole deer. Accordingly, the evening meal was very game orientated and kindly contributed to by the Chiefs. Dave Rennie has produced a fine bunch of players where there are no prima donnas, no one-upmanship, and you can see they are united as a team. The day of golf was rounded off with the pleasant meal and auction of various generously donated items.

We raised $27,000 for this event, which is an extremely good result for a golf tournament. As per the Crosby’s usual generosity, they matched the day’s proceedings so it is very gratifying to have raised over $50K for the day. A very pleasing result.

Thank you to the sponsors and teams who made this day so outstandingly successful. We appreciate your commitment and look forward to your continued involvement in this project.Naming Rights: Craigs Investment PartnersCourse Sponsor: Prolife Foods LtdTeams Entered by: Mills Albert Washington; Kapiti Heliworx; Craigs Investment Partners; New World Rototuna; PANmedia Limited; APL; Itec Products (1992) Ltd; TCS NZ Ltd; PWC; Bank of New Zealand; Tompkins Wake; Pathways to New Zealand; ANZ; Harkness Henry; Smart Trade International Ltd; Prolife Foods; Langlands Ritchie Sloan; KPMG; Brian Perry Charitable Trust; Westpac; Placemakers; Lodge Real Estate (Hamilton) Limited; Workmates Ltd; Placemakers Huntly; Terry BoothTee Sponsors: New World Rototuna; PANmedia; APL; PWC; Pathways to New Zealand; ANZ; Harkness Henry; Mother Earth; Greg Tims & Associates Ltd; Workmates Ltd; River City Signs for the signage; Placemakers for sign stakes.
