Our final fundraiser for the year was a dinner at our home for thirty men catered by Kerr and Ladbrook and matched with wine from Mills Reef. It was an outstanding success with Professor Sir Richard Faull bringing a human brain along to explain its workings, so it was educational as well as a great opportunity to celebrate the raising of $1M of funds for the research programme to date.
As well as the celebration, people dug deep into their pockets and, with Crosby’s matching, we raised just over $100,000. To all attendees – we had an enjoyable night and thank you most sincerely for your gestures made on the evening.
