As a charitable trust, it is important to demonstrate impact — that the funds we raise are well spend and really do make a difference in the world. Thanks to our generous supporters, in the 10 years 2013–2022 under the banner Neuro Research Charitable Trust we have raised and committed $2.3M to agreed research conducted at the Centre for Brain Research, University of Auckland. This research has contributed (and continues to contribute) to the global understanding of Parkinson’s disease processes with ramifications for earlier diagnosis and potential therapeutics.
