Unlock was the word of the evening and we certainly unlocked a good time, a few laughs, perhaps a tear, but most overwhelmingly amazing generosity.
What a fabulous night raising an amazing amount of funding to go to Parkinson’s research!
This was a wonderful occasion at the Crosby home for 38 attendees, including Professor Sir Richard Faull and the NRCT team.
What a day! The weather gods were kind to us with the sun shining as we sat enjoying a wine-matched delicious lunch whilst being entertained at the Crosby home.
This dinner was an outstanding success with Sir Professor Richard Faull bringing a human brain along to explain its workings, so it was educational as well as a great opportunity to celebrate the raising of $1M of funds for the research programme to date.
Our MIB “Make it Big” dinner held in Hamilton on 29 April raised $111,273, and this figure was matched by the Crosby family.
Craigs Investment Partners’ Swing for Neuro Research Charitable Trust Golf Event was held at St Andrews Golf Course in Hamilton. The Chiefs were in attendance and a Chiefs player joined each of the golf teams.
What a grand night we had! We did have rain, but it stopped at the appropriate times to enable us to keep dry going to and from the stadium to the marquee and did not dampen what was a successful charity fundraising event.
Wow – what a night! It was beyond our wildest expectations. All turned up in their finery and were at their elegant best. The Crosby feet have finally touched the ground. Thank you all for attending the inaugural fundraising gala dinner and making the night so successful.
